In 2019 I had the pleasure to create a book cover for author Joshua Yoder. This was his second novel in the World of Amarthia Series. This cover was created traditionally with gouache paint for the background and colored pencil for the creature depicted in the foreground.

Facing a crumbling criminal empire, Jirair al-Seif, A.K.A. Assad Alabwaq, attempts to gather his resources and survive the wrath of his estranged wife, Yursa De Palma. But warring mafia families are not the only threat seeking al-Seif’s downfall, the mysterious organization known as the Tiger’s Stripe is hot on his trail, and one of their members intends to end al-Seif’s reign with a bullet.
